Description Provides financial assistance for living expenses, such as food and housing, to people with disabilities. Amount of benefit depends on size of family, shelter costs, income and assets. Eligibility Individuals 18 yrs and up; resident of Ontario; verified physical or mental disability that is expected to last a year or more; disability must make it difficult for applicant to care for him/herself, go into the community or to work.
